I'm Wilson G. Tang, and I'm a creative, digital and innnovation executive with extensive experience designing and producing leading-edge content and experiential marketing solutions for major media, technology and brands. I have worked on brands including Google, Yahoo!, USA Today, CBS, Square, Miller Coors, Chipotle, BP, Exxon Mobil, Bank of America and more.
In addition, I've had a distinguished career as on-air television and radio host/producer/writer for major CBS News national broadcasts and online at CNET TV, where I covered technology news extensively.
My passion is and always has been, though, storytelling, whether that is on screen through video and film or online through a blog or article or through creating real life experiences.
It's about stories. They make us and define us.
Reducing time to perform labor-intensive booth marking using instant-on laser projection.
Move equipment, freight and other repetitive tasks using autonomous mobile robots.
Save costs and the planet electric cargo vans, powered by solar energy and battery packs.
Eliminate repetitive and monotonous tasks using software automation and generative design.
Developed new artificial-intelligence-powered chatbots, designed specifically for events. Solution was omnichannel across voice and text.
Created new digital marketing services suite of services, building websites, campaigns, emails, and social media advertising.
Built new augmented and virtual reality business for live events, bringing in creative technologists and artists together.
Designed new data visualization dashboard for live experience data with data from multiple disparate data sources.
At CBS, I became a CBS News correspondent on the most high profile of news events in the technology world. With Steve Jobs passing, I hosted and produced three segments that evening and morning, where I discussed the legacy of this technology and cultural lumière on the highly regarded CBS Early Show.
Since then, I've made several appearances on the CBS Early Show's Trend Benders segment as CNET's technology correspondent, and hosted segments for the CBS Morning News.
It's been an honor and a privilege to be part of such an important news and media legacy, and one that I will always carry with me. In addition to CBS News, I have made guest appearances on MSNBC, Reuters and Fox News.
I was a producer, writer, director and host at CBS Interactive's CNET TV. During that time, I co-hosted The 404 Show, a daily technology news and culture program that was available as a podcast and segments aired on CBS News Radio in 8 of the top 10 markets, Yahoo! Music, CBS Audience Network and AOL Music. I've had the privilege and memory of interviewing celebrities like Eliza Dushku and Wayne Brady and have had exclusive access to events like the premeire oJ.J. Abrams's new Star Trek.
In addition to The 404, I hosted CNET's daily news program Loaded, where I covered in-depth industry and device announcements and reviews.
Finally, at CNET, I also worked to help improve the product experience with enhancements to CNET TV and introducing new cinematography and program experiences.
At TBA Global, I am the Director of Creative Content, where I've run the ToBeAnnounced experiential studio. In that capacity, I work to create digital apps and content that extend the event experience.
In addition, I've designed and managed the creation of several websites and app experiences, including the website of weekend radio's number 1 host, Kim Komando.
Finally, I have creative directed press events for brands like Google, ExxonMobil, BP and Chipotle and built websites, directed videos and commercials and developed apps to compliment them.
